These terms apply to every purchase on this site. Read the section "What you buy" before you pay.

What you buy

An entry in the directory. Every completed payment is published in the public directory, with the address you submit, the country you paid for, the amount, and the date. Your entry stays there for as long as this site operates. It is removed only under "Removal" and "Refunds" below.

The country on the map, while your payment is the largest. The map shows one entry per country. It shows the entry that paid the most for it.

Anyone can pay more for the same country at any time, and nothing on the map is reserved or held for a period of time. When a larger payment lands, the map shows that entry instead of yours, from that moment. Your directory entry is unaffected. You are not refunded, and that is the reason a country costs what it costs.

Adding money to a country raises the amount that the next payment has to pass.

How position is decided

Position on the map is decided by payment and by nothing else. There is no review, no rating, no ranking by quality, and no editorial judgment of any kind. A country shows the entry that paid the most for it. Nothing on this site is a recommendation.

Prices

Every price is shown before payment. Prices are in US dollars, in whole dollars.

A country that nobody holds costs a price set by its size. A country that someone holds costs more than the amount paid for it so far. Any person can also add money to a country's amount without changing what the country shows.

What a payment does, and when

Nothing is held or reserved before payment. What a payment does is decided when the payment confirms, from the state of the map at that moment.

• A payment for a country puts your entry on the map if it is larger than the amount that country holds when the payment confirms. If another payment landed first, your payment buys the directory entry and not the map placement.
• A payment that adds money to a country is added to whichever entry holds the country when the payment confirms, even if the country changed hands first.

Refunds

Payments are not refundable.

Losing your place on the map to a later payment is not a refund reason. A payment that confirms too late to take a country is not a refund reason.

If a payment is refunded, by us or by the payment provider, everything that payment bought is removed. The entry leaves the directory and its link stops working. If it holds a country, the map stops showing it, and that country then shows the largest payment that remains, or nothing.

What we accept

Entries are for company and product websites, and for X profiles. We do not accept adult content, chat and messaging invitations, or addresses that redirect to a different site from the one described.

Submit only a site or a profile that you own, or that you are authorised to represent. By paying, you confirm that you have that right, and that you are allowed to use the name and the message that you submit. We do not check this. An entry is not evidence of it.

Removal

We can remove an entry from the map, from the directory, or from both, if it breaks these terms. A removal is not refunded. A country whose entry is removed can still be bought by someone else, at the price its amount sets.

If an entry uses your site, your profile, or your name without your permission, write to [REMOVAL EMAIL] and ask us to remove it. Say which entry, and say what your right to it is.

What this site does not do

We do not check that a buyer controls the address on an entry. An entry shows who paid. It is not a recommendation, and it is not a statement of a connection between the owner of the address and this site.

We do not promise visitors, clicks, search benefit, or any result from an entry.

Links

Every link on this site to a buyer's address is marked so that search engines do not follow it, and passes through this site, which counts the visit before it sends the visitor on.

Query strings on submitted addresses are removed.

Buyers in the EU, the EEA, and the UK

You have a right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content within 14 days. Your entry is published as soon as your payment confirms. You are asked to agree to that immediate publication before you pay, and to accept that you lose the right of withdrawal when the entry is published.

This does not affect your rights under the law of your own country.

Changes

We can change these terms. A change applies to payments made after it is published.
